Joybuy is a European shop, JoyaBuy was an agent: sorting out which one a 'Joybuy spreadsheet' really points to

Last updated . Joybuy: JD.com's European shop since 16 March 2026; not an agent.

Quick answer: Joybuy is JD.com's own online shop, launched on 16 March 2026 in the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, selling branded electronics, appliances, beauty and groceries from European warehouses. It isn't a shopping agent and has no spreadsheets of China finds. Most 'Joybuy spreadsheet' searches mean JoyaBuy, an agent now recorded as Joyagoo. Google even suggests 'joyabuy spreadsheet' for the reversed query.

Two names one letter apart

Type "joybuy spreadsheet" into Google and the suggestions are almost empty; reverse it to "spreadsheet joybuy" and Google offers "joyabuy spreadsheet" instead. That tells the story. Most people searching for a Joybuy spreadsheet mean JoyaBuy, the shopping agent, and the extra "a" got lost. But Joybuy is also a real and growing company, so it's worth knowing the difference before clicking anything.

Most 'Joybuy spreadsheet' searches are JoyaBuy with a typo.

What Joybuy actually is

Joybuy is JD.com's own online shop for Europe. It launched on 16 March 2026 in six countries: the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. It sells branded products such as electronics, home appliances, beauty, household goods and groceries, delivered from a network of about 60 European warehouses and depots by JD's own JoyExpress service, with same-day delivery in some UK areas for orders placed before 11 a.m. A JoyPlus membership offers free delivery.

How to tell what a sheet means

  • Hover over a link: a Joybuy link goes to JD's European shop; an agent link shows a Taobao or Weidian item inside it.
  • Look at the products: unbranded fashion and spreadsheet finds point to an agent; branded appliances point to Joybuy.
  • Check the domain before logging in; look-alike domains exist for many agents, as our Usfans clone check shows.

Where the link goes settles it in seconds.

If you meant JoyaBuy

JoyaBuy is recorded in our September 2026 agent data as renamed to Joyagoo. Old JoyaBuy sheets still circulate, and their links contain marketplace item numbers you can reuse. Our JoyaBuy spreadsheet page explains how to rescue an old sheet, and the Joyagoo vs Usfans comparison covers the agent today.

JoyaBuy sheets are reusable through their item numbers.

JD.com items through an agent

JD.com's Chinese site is a separate thing again: China's big direct retailer, mainly for electronics and branded goods. Some agents list JD among the platforms they buy from, including Fansbuy. Usfans names Taobao, Weidian and 1688 as its main sources; check usfans.com before pasting a JD link. For branded electronics, buying locally, including from Joybuy in its six countries, avoids import duty, voltage and warranty problems.

For branded electronics, a local shop usually beats an agent.

Returns and consumer rights

Buying from Joybuy is buying from a retailer in your own market, and that brings local consumer law with it. In the EU, online purchases from businesses carry a 14-day right to withdraw without giving a reason, under the Consumer Rights Directive, and the UK has an equivalent 14-day cancellation right. Joybuy's own policies sit on top of those rights. An agent order from China works very differently: once the parcel has left the warehouse, returning an item to a Chinese seller is slow and often not worth the postage, which is why agents rely on QC photos before shipping.

Joybuy comes with EU and UK consumer rights; agent orders rely on photos before shipping.

Who is behind Joybuy

JD.com is one of China's largest retailers, known for running its own logistics. Its earlier European attempt, the Ochama shops, was wound down; Joybuy is the larger second try, and it followed JD's €2.2 billion deal for Ceconomy, the owner of MediaMarkt and Saturn. Coverage at launch put Joybuy's range at about 100,000 products with more than 49,000 pickup points. It competes with Amazon, not with shopping agents.

Delivery and membership

Joybuy's pitch is speed. At launch it offered free delivery on orders over €29 or £29 and a JoyPlus membership with unlimited free delivery at a promotional €3.99 or £3.99 a month, according to launch coverage. In parts of the UK, orders placed before 11 a.m. can arrive the same day. None of that resembles agent shopping, where items take about a week to reach the warehouse and then travel internationally for one to several weeks.

Joybuy delivers in hours or days; agent parcels take weeks.

Why the confusion keeps happening

Before Joybuy's European launch in 2026, almost every "joybuy" search in fashion circles meant the agent JoyaBuy. Since March, Joybuy has advertised across Europe, so both names now appear in search results side by side. Spreadsheets written before the launch still say "Joybuy" when they mean JoyaBuy, and newer shoppers may assume the agent and the shop are related. They aren't, and nothing on Joybuy's European site connects to agent spreadsheets. If a sheet's links open Joybuy product pages for branded appliances, it's a genuine Joybuy list; if they open agent pages with Taobao items, it's an agent sheet.

Older sheets say Joybuy and mean JoyaBuy; the shop is unrelated.

Taxes and delivery compared

Joybuy's European stock is delivered domestically, so there's no customs step. Agent parcels from China pay import VAT and, in the EU since 1 July 2026, a €3 duty per item category in parcels up to €150; see our guides for Germany and France, two of Joybuy's launch countries.

Local stock means no import charges; China parcels carry VAT and duty.
